What the Packers should be doing when the season finally comes to and end, is trying to figure out why they are falling back in the NFC North division... The Lions, Viking and now the Bears have all gained ground on the Packers and have passed them in the NFC North division. Will the Packers be looking for a new GM....? Poor drafting and free agent acquisitions have handicapped this team.... The Vikings and Lions are clearly better ball clubs then the Packers are right now. The Packers need to hit on all of their draft picks this year and obtain some veteran expeirence @ LB's and CB for depth. Pass Rush from the Defensive line needs major upgrade as well. 2022 1st round draft pick Lukas Van Ness is a bust Packer MGT made a major mistake. The coaching staff has some questions to answer for as well. Curious to see when the new CEO/President steps in what changes he will make.... Because this team is headed in the wrong direction... There will be plenty of time to talk about that stuff when the season ends.

I had no idea that the Bears at 5-12 had passed GB at 11-6 in the division.

The Packers lost to the Bears; therefore, they suck now. I'm sure you understand how that reasonably unreasonably makes sense. Finicky bunch we Packers' fans.

They’re 1-5 in the division. Tied with the Bares. If that’s good enough for you, that’s your choice. A lot of people would like them to be better.

GB would have won zero division games if not for a finger tip block...I know at least 1-Bear is ahead...I saw him run for a touchdown on a return fake.

Packers have only been under the sensible roster management of the GM for the last 2-3 years.

Don't forget we wasted 2019-2022 half-assing our roster because Rodgers was whispering into Murphy's ear, telling him we need to do whatever it takes to keep aging vets as the nucleus of the team. For at least 4 years the Packers had a cap and contracts man who was answering to the President (under advisement of the QB) as opposed to the General Manager.

Not until Rodgers was sent packing has the GM finally been given the room to truly start cleaning out the cap debt contracts and start actually rebuilding this roster from the core out.

Murphy did a lot of great things for the financial future of this team, and for that I'm thankful, but he delayed the inevitable rebuild of this team by many years with his insistence on inserting himself as the hub of all football operations. It is unfortunate that he misread Rodgers' character and gave him his ear. It took Rodgers completely shitting on the organization at the podium to open training camp after trying to hold the franchise hostage that offseason before Murphy could see clearly he had placed his trust in the wrong person.

Packers have drafted and given 2nd contracts to 3 under-performers. The Pass Rush is ruining this team. Now they have to throw more $$$ and Draft Capital @ the same positions. This is wasteful and poor business. The Lions have drafted much higher caliber players.
The Lions Edge Rushers were on another level-it was shocking.

@NJ-You are right about your comments but you won't find too much agreement on this site. The Packers have played in what was a soft division for years and have not had to create a sound, complete Defense nor Special Teams. Everything is 'good enough' but there is no comparison to the standards of excellence on both the Lions/Vikings. A top-down change is necessary and it not looking promising.

Top 7 is OK, I guess.

Keep the pedal to the metal. Eventually, the Fans may sober up and smell the coffee. This crew has been in a wall-to-wall carpet comfort zone since 2010, riding the SB vibe. Maybe from the time Wolf gave them a Job? They need a remodel, refresh, renewal, starting with Gutey & Co. You don't want to end up like the Brew Crew, living off subsidies from the State.

The high school grades for the defensive coaching staff and LaFleur are F and F. What kind of defense can be generated by a one man rushing "front"? In that last series by Chicago, Packers were stymied by the Bears offensive alignment. So much so, that the defensive line consisted of a lone player. The Bears offense consisted of a 3 man set on the right side to draw most of the Packers defensive secondary, leaving a lone secondary to cover the middle of the field. Ugh!

The coaching blunders were many, one of the most egregious was putting Clark back in the game on the Bears final drive after he had sat the 2nd half out. That's how guys get injured. It seems like the plan for the game was wishy washy from the start and went downhill from there.

But to me the most noticeable issue the last two weeks is they couldn't get pressure with four against much weaker lines than the Eagles and Lions have and the OL is allowing four to get pressure way too often. When you look at the schedule next year they're playing a physical division(AFC North) along with a couple physical teams in their own division. This was the most physical team in the LaFleur era but they need to continue look to add physical players and place a premium on Line players while doing so.

We're going to need to be +3 in turnovers and have Love channel the Love from late last year. So, there's a chance!

Considering Ball is the one handling the contracts you might be confused as to where the stupid lies. Maybe a period of self reflection is in order.

Oh, you mean like he brought in Xavier Mckinney and Josh Jacobs? Yes, he has ruined this team. Packers have the 4th best record in the NFL since 2015, tops in the NFC. How about you root for the Giants or Panthers.

Head Coach Matt LaFleur, "I think everything's fair game right now, I mean, in terms of just all of us." "It's a collective, and it always starts with me." When? When does it actually start with him? At what point does that happen? Training camp, preseason, 17 regular season games played and everything is still fair game. So it hasn't started yet, whatever "it" is. But he's going to be able to dial all that in before Sunday at 3:30 p.m. CT. At what point does the overuse of sports cliches stop? I'd even take that as a sign of progress.

To strat, I'm with you all the way ! I've been saying this about the flower for years now with plenty of down votes from other supporters! He's an oc at most. He doesn't have the character of a bad ass ,authoritarian who puts discipline to his assistant coaches and players. He always says on me, my responsibility bs every year with the same results. Alot also has to do with the drafting and free agency of players as well

If MLF would only take to heart and correct all the cliches he fishes out every week, he might become a better in game coach.

Gute just can't seem to pick well in first round most years. Outside of the 1st round, he does a pretty good job. Maybe he shouldn't use those ridiculous RAS scores when choosing a first rounder?

Just looking at the last Detroit- Minnesota match last Sunday. Detroit has 20 players on injured reserve, of and df players and fucked the vikings up!! We can't compete or beat them? Should have lost both to Chicago as well!! Gutey has to improve on his picks and bring some game changers in free agency. Unfortunately we have the flower and his assistant coaches. Murphy must telephone personally bellicick, saleh and vrabel for next year! The flower isn't capable to bring us a championship! Hes an oc at most, gets outcoached, fucks up in the most ďecicisive moments in matches, lack of discipline to his players and assistant coaches, etc.We are one of the most penalised teams in the league, he doesn't have the discipline, bad ass character you need as hc. He doesn't have the character, capabilities and authoritarian nature to lead the team.

Over the years I have saw GB teams lose in what should be minimal % way.....which has become OUR NORMAL. Part of it is Coaching....and part of it is a GM who is in love with HIS PICKS.....that are not very good. Our Coaching staff is also very slow at promoting different starters that everyone else already see as an upgrade far before the move is actually made. Running so much that your young WR's regress from last season is a mistake. Letting JL come back too early was a mistake. Dragging out paying JL half the pre-season was a mistake. Putting in an injured Watson who had on a huge knee brace was a mistake. We could go on and on...You tell me.
