Dolphins Cut WR Patrick Turner

According to Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald, the Miami Dolphins plan to cut wide receiver Patrick Turner in order to keep undrafted rookie wide receivers Roberto Wallace and Marlon Moore.

Turner, a third-round pick by the Dolphins in 2009, appeared in just two games, and did not post a single reception. Turner had 7 receptions for 90 yards this pre-season,

The 6-5, 220-pound Turner caught 138 passes for 1,752 yards and 17 touchdowns during his career at USC, and could draw interest from the St. Louis Rams, Washington Redskins, Kansas City Chiefs, and Seattle Seahawks if he hits the waiver wire.
