Rams RB Steven Jackson Had Surgery on Finger

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson had surgery on his left ring finger this morning, head coach Steve Spagnuolo said.

Jackson played through the injury on Sunday, carrying the ball 22 times for 110 yards, his third straight 100-yard rushing game.

Spagnuolo added that Jackson, who also suffered a minor neck injury on Sunday, will be day-to-day this week, and is hopeful that he'll be available for this week's game against the Carolina Panthers.

In other Rams' injury news, safety James Butler has a "mild" MCL sprain and will miss this week's game, their last before the bye week.
