Seahawks Add Pair of Linebackers to Practice Squad

The Seattle Seahawks announced that linebackers Michael Johnson and Vuna Tuihalamaka have been signed to the practice squad.

Seattle had an open spot with the promotion of rookie cornerback Marcus Brown to the active roster earlier this week. Another spot was opened up when defensive lineman Derek Walker was placed on the team's practice squad/injured reserve list.

Johnson (6-0, 254) played his college ball at North Alabama, totaling 365 tackles, including 31.5 for a loss, with 8.5 quarterback sacks and 5 interceptions. Johnson signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in April, but was released in mid-May.

Tuihalamaka (6-1, 230) signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Arizona. Tuihalamaka totaled 5 tackles and a fumble recovery on special teams before he was waived as part of the team's final roster cuts in early September.S
